We started our day having donuts with grownups at the grandkids school. They also have a book fair as part of the event. It was so much fun.

In anticipation of TSA issues, we arrived at the airport 3 hours before the flight. From the time we pulled into the rental car return to checking bags and going through security was less than 30 minutes.

Went whale watching yesterday. It was so fun!

We have a wonderful friend, who also happens to be a professional chef. She and her business partner are teaching a class, Bourbon Bliss - A Spirited Bourbon Dinner, this coming week and we’re going. She gave us the bourbon chocolate pecan pie to try. It’s amazing! Can’t wait for the class!

Went to Costco this afternoon thinking it would be better than going Wednesday. I’m not so sure. It was way busier than I thought it would be. It was way worse that a typical weekend day. Guess I was delusional.

The holiday season has officially started! My MIL use to always make “scrabble” and my wife has continued the tradition. My 96 yo FIL always looks forward to it.

My 7 yo grand daughter got my phone yesterday and made lots of videos. She was using the "6, 7" lots. I don't get it. I'm thinking she's practicing to be an influencer.

He really wanted to help pass out candy last night!

Celebrated my Father-in-law's 96th birthday last night!

This place has become one of our favorite places to eat in the KC metro! It's amazing! It's farm to table. The entree was a double cut pork chop and desert is carrot cake. It was divine!

My youngest granddaughter dancing to the new Taylor Swift album. Yes, it’s vinyl. 🙂
