Lucky number 7 on my #NESTop25 is #Metroid. This game raised a high bar for #NES and all #videogames action plaformers. Ton of content, challenge, and even graphics considering this is from the 1980’s. The story was just the beginning of a multi decade fascination with Metroids and Samus! #Nintendo

Just because a game is easier doesn’t mean it’s not fun. Number 8 on my #NESTop25 is a great example of that. #KirbysAdventure is unique, cute, and fun! After the Game Boy original, this was a huge upgrade that was fun to work through and a spark in a very fun series! #Nintendo #VideoGames #Kirby

The doctor is in at number 9 on my #NESTop25. #DrMario is a revolutionary puzzle game with fun music and new mechanic. The multiplayer mode is lots of fun and can be very competitive! I was never great, but have enjoyed the game through the year with other peeps! #Mario #VideoGames #Nintendo

Number 10 of my #NESTop25 goes to #Excitebike. I loved being able to build courses and trying to be the time records… I hated over heating and the sound that came with it… still, fun game with find memories, just wish more would have happened with the series. #Nintendo #VideoGames #NES

Another break from the #NESTop25 to share some top NES memories. Somehow, I remember the first video game I ever rented was Double Dribble… and though I would later appreciate its greatness later, I remember being so excited to play and having fun learning… I miss game rentals….

Clearing out the bottom 15 of my #NESTop25 at number 11 is #Tetris. Sure, this game really picked up steam with the Game Boy, but gotta show love to the original. I play Tetris 99 most nights for a quick moment of fun and challenge, showing the lasting impact of this one! #NES #VideoGames #Nintendo

I mentioned Disney had a slew of great #NES TV syndication games earlier in my #NESTop25, and at number 12, #Ducktales is the cream of the crop. This Capcom game was initially a surprise as how great it was, but when the game had some Mega Man influence, it makes sense. #VideoGames #Nintendo

I know Chris had the original on his #NESTop25, but I have #TecmoSuperBowl at number 13 on mine. Twice as many play options than the original, real teams/players, multiple season play, and still with the original #NES #Tecmo charm? Count me in! #Nintendo #VideoGames

Number 14 on my #NESTop25 is a version of the #SuperMarioBros. series I would have loved to see more of on the #NES, and that’s #SuperMarioBros2. I LOVED the idea of playing as Toad (and peach) and that the objective wasn’t a damsel in distress. #Nintendo got there eventually… #Mario #VideoGames

Now back to the show. Number 15 of my #NESTop25 is an arcade port that blew my prepubescent mind. #TeenageMutantNinjaTurtlesTheArcadeGame in my house?! Sure, it wasn’t as good as the arcade, but it was awesome to play at home without pumping quarters in the machine. #Nintendo #VideoGames

Speaking of #NintendoHard, taking the day off from the #NESTop25 to talk about the hardest of #NES games. The first one that comes to mind is the first/original #TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles. The game itself was difficult (especially for the 8 year olds we were), especially the underwater level…

Number 16 of my #NESTop25 might have the best music of any NES game (including the pause music). #Battletoads was TMNT on drugs… and I liked it. Yeah, this is a #NintendoHard game no doubt, but the animation, story, and gameplay was fun! Need to play more in the series now. #Nintendo #VideoGames

Some might saying having #Contra as number 17 on my #NESTop25 is too low, and for good reason. This the THE game the #Konami was for! This game actually has decent graphics for being at the beginning of the #NES lifecycle, and though the game play was basic, it was fun! #Nintendo #VideoGames

Watch out! Number 18 on my #NESTop25 is the arcade classic #Paperboy. This game is so silly and quirky, and I love it! Another game that just keeps going (I think), it was always fun to attempt to get every house to subscribe and “live” long enough to succeed! #NES #Nintendo #VideoGames

Number 19 on my #NESTop25 might be a little high, but I remember enjoying #Jaws on the #NES quite a bit. I’m glad my #Nintendo still works and I have this game, because I want to play it again see if I can actually figure out how to complete and defeat the great white shark! #VideoGames

Back to the regularly scheduled program, number 20 of my #NESTop25 goes to #ChipNDale #RescueRangers. #Disney had a slew of #NES games from their syndicated TV shows, most of them pretty good… and this isn’t even the best one. Numero 21 on the #NESTop25 is the OG #DonkeyKong. Bringing an arcade favorite to the home console is something that is still appreciated today. And though this game doesn’t have a lot of depth, it’s really blossomed into a fantastic franchise (Bananza anyone?)! #Nintendo #VideoGames

#LifeForce (or “Salamander” in Japan) is the 22nd entry to my #NESTop25. Between me and my neighbors, we rented this game more times than any other… and being 8-10 years old, we never finished it, but boy did we try. Classic space shooter. The 23rd listing in my #NESTop25 goes to #BobbleBobble. This game was a lot of fun with two people and just kept going… and that was okay. Because it was about the journey, not the destination. The game mechanics were like Mario Bros (not SMB), but better. #Nintendo #VideoGames

Number 24 of my #NESTop25 goes to a game I’m more excited about due to the characters than anything else, it is #TheSimpsons:#BartVsTheSpaceMutants. I never got very far in the game, but loved seeing the show in a video game for the first (but far from the last) time… #Nintendo #NES #VideoGames

The new season (number 14) of #KingOfTheHill is fantastic! The revival did a great job brining back beloved characters into the present day with the charm of the original show(with some great call backs). I know #Dreamworks’ #TheBadGuys2 is a kid’s movie, but I really enjoyed it. The animation is really fun, the writing and plot is original while also being entertaining, and the voice talent puts it all together very well. I saw #TheNakedGun today, and it is ridiculous… and that’s a good thing. So it finally happened: I caught a shiny #Pokémon in #PokémonGo and immediately “transferred it to the professor,” never to be seen again. The good news is I already have a shiny of this specific Pokémon, but still. Lesson learned.

I have no idea how aligned with the comic lore #MarvelStudio’s #Ironheart is, but I hope it’s close as I struggled with the story. Talent was fantastic, and I didn’t mind the action and effects, but Riri’s actions didn’t sit right with me. Hoping for future resolution. #ClintWatchesStuff #Marvel
