Thanks for answers. Some googling led me to the conclusion that a lot of "high def" music, eg 16 vs 24 bit, is audiophile mysticism but still it's good to know what you're getting. Seems like 320 Mbps mp3 is prob ok but I don't think Amazon even gives you that (and who wants to buy from them anyway)

Btw those of you who buy music to download, where do you get it from if it's not on Bandcamp? Do any other services sell FLACs for example? Neither Apple or Amazon will tell you what format or quality you can have before you click Buy (as far as I can tell).
