wednesday is going to be a day for rearranging my room and putting things in places they fit better i need a space refresh. i think it’ll help me with the mental funk i’ve been feeling lately and i want it optimized for having people over to hang out

wake up at 6am to meet my friends for a morning outing before work. get asked to clock in early to help. relentless hordes of people without more than 5 minutes between orders. beg to leave early so i can play cards with friends to wind down. they gave my spot away. go to bus, bus leaves me behind.

we had a conversation on the way home (crush, friend, myself) about demiromance and it occurred to me that i might be demiromantic. i have long found it difficult to develop strong, romantic attachment-like feelings without first forming some kind of personal connection

i didn’t get to ask him anything but we enjoyed 6 hours of playing magic and i think it would be cool to just spend more time around each other before i say anything. i really like talking to him and enjoy his humor a lot; he’s incredibly respectful and chivalrous!

my crush is coming to my card group tomorrow and i invited him to our weekly pre-game taco meetup as well i’m hoping i might get to say something or gauge interest better i have a cute warm weather outfit and makeup planned too 👉🏼👈🏼

nothing to do with asking out my friend but i feel so over dating or trying to attract people. i think since people can’t pin down how to identify themselves with me or identify me personally, there’s a sort of “nah, pass” that happens and it’s even discouraged me from posting my usual stuff

lol i was moaning and groaning (loudly, i admit) as i was getting comfy after work and my roommates messaged the group chat “did you bring a friend home? good score!” i wish i didn’t have to tell them i was just stretching because my bones are ancient and scrungly

smoked so deep my roommates told me they asked me if i wanted korean fried chicken and i don’t remember answering but now there’s korean fried chicken for me

i accidentally cut into a can of lacroix while unboxing shipment and got face blasted by fizzy water that went all the way up to the ceiling and at least 6 feet below it against the wall there was a me-shaped splatter outline and now half of my hair and makeup is damp and soggy lol

today i got to see and hang out with one of my friends from texas. surreal. we are such different people and yet our friendship was still CEMENT. i admit, i wept. a piece of my old life in texas came back to me.

back on my anxiety meds and oh my LORD everything feels easy again my hands aren’t shaking, my heart isn’t pounding at the slightest stress, my jaw is unclenched i haven’t felt this relaxed and chilled the fuck out since the middle of february 😫🙏🏼

it’s started happening that when it rains heavily, my hips and knees from old DV injuries flare up and make it very painful to walk normally. stairs & inclines suck! today was much harder than i’d like to admit i don’t like that i’ve processed my trauma but it is with my physically in so many ways
