Anyone else feel like celebrities that promote AI tools should be the first to be replaced by AI?

Left 2 groups on FB because after blocking 5 AI art posters today, the site is no longer blocking those people from my feed. Wish there were WoW groups that respected artists, but at this point AI is too ingrained in the new generation who are too blinded by 'ohh shiny' to see what is coming.

So. Canadian media pushed the Trudeau government to enact a law that would make US social media sites and news aggregators at the copyright holders for links to news articles. Facebook and google initially said no, they would block news links for Canadian viewers. So imagine my shock seeing ads

So I did a survey for ubereats a week or so ago. Since then, I noticed I was getting less deal offers, like BOGO and #$X off #$Y. Checked with a couple of folks because the images for some restaurants still showed bogo offers, and there was still rotating ads for offers, but I was seeing none of them.

Apparently started a flame war in a local Facebook group by advising local folks to weigh their meat as many stores, including g some locally owned, illegally include the packing in the weight they charge. Didn’t name the store, but lots of folks defending the practice.

Was just reading an article via screenshots on FB while at my desk. Saw out of the corner of my eye that my battery was low so I plugged in. A few minutes later, noticed my battery was down to 10% so I began to fiddle with the cord. Not charging. Wtf. Took about 15 minutes and 3 cords.

Is Trump bipolar?

Anyone else mildly annoyed by people who insist on trying to make even treats and desserts healthy? Like… the effort put in to make a dessert healthy, to me, would make a dessert less enjoyable and the ‘making it healthy’ part makes the dessert less tasty. Why ruin something that’s already good?!?

I have long had issues with the way Microsoft has bullied people into accepting change just because they say so. From definitions of items to forces changes to UI or processes, the Almighty MS cannot be disputed. “This is better, trust us” falls really flat because their view doesn’t fit everyone.

So I’ve seen a lot of reporting that the dems have flipped a bunch of elections since Trump retook the White House while the republicans have flipped none. What I’m curious about is what is the overall win record for each side, retained seats and flips, since Jan 20, 2025? Not just flips, but totals

Finally completed the campaign and unlocked midnight endgame, thankfully for all my toons it sounds like(yay!) but I have no idea how the faction event stuff works. Likely won’t bother with them right away cause both houses are xp capped and there will be new endeavours next week. Long slog, though.

Did the fanta promo, chose the corked bottles. I have waited 5 hours, have restarted my WoW client, closed it for an hour, and rebooted my bnet app, not showing up in my game.

Leveled a toon from 1 to 100 skinning in Eversong. Ended up with 80 scales, and 149 leather. Maybe 7 skill points in Leatherworking. 1-100 herb and mining got hundreds of each, because the last 25 points are incredibly hard to get, and resulted in 25+ points in BS and Alchy respectively. Ridiculous.

Got my first 90 as I unlocked Haran’ir allied race. Woot!

Apparently hit the xp cap from endeavors(only getting coupons now) on my alliance house, so I guess I work on my horde house, and try to find new decor so maybe I can hit level 8 before April.

So.. if I didn't level DF Blacksmithing during the expansion, I am screwed on trying to level it up now as everything that gains skill points past 65 seems to require time gated once a week stuff.
