The fact that Carolina can clinch their division just by beating Tampa in week 18 means the Seahawks need to get off to a fast start. If they get out to a lead and maintain it into the 2nd half Carolina might scale it back and just prepare for their winner take all game.

So next weeks rooting interest is simple. Seahawks over Panthers Bears over 49ers Falcons over Rams Doesn't clinch #1 seed but does clinch the division and guarantees at least the #2 seed.

Far as I can tell Bears winning mostly kills any chance of Seattle clinching the #1 seed before week 18. Oddly enough if the Colts win on Monday it would then have us rooting for the 49ers next week to beat the Bears. All continent on the Rams losing to Atlanta. Without that's its all on week 18.
