so the latest bsky app update seems to have enabled “play videos/gifs automatically” by default. If you *dont* want to hear every random video as you scroll your feed, go in to Settings > Content & media and turn off “Autoplay videos and GIFs”

Last year, I made a pre-game prediction: if we saw ads promoting AI, the bubble was going to pop within 12-18 months. we didn’t get any AI super bowl ads last year. I’ve seen two already in just the first quarter.

I did a little tinkering last night and got the 2000 Sega classic “Typing of the Dead” playable in RTX Remix. It involved daisy-chaining a ddraw-to-d3d9 wrapper into RTX Remix’ d3d9 wrapper, and then tagging the UI elements. it wasn’t pretty by any means, but I was mostly impressed it worked at all
