Elon Musk running DOGE is clearly a violation of Article 2 Section 2 of the Constitution which states that the president shall nominate all officers with the advice and consent of the senate unless Congress gives the president power to make such appointments by law.

I suspect when Trump does blatantly illegal things like fire the inspector generals without legal process, that part of the reason he does it is because it is illegal. He wants it to be illegal because he is just getting started and illegal actions without consequence demonstrate his power.

Trump showed his opposition to the 12th Amendment of the Constitution when he pardoned every person involved in the January 6th insurrection. He not only pardoned, but also directed his Attorney General to stop all prosecutions.

Trump's pardon of his co-conspirators who sought to overthrow the republic is an endorsement of political violence. It's fitting the first president to oppose the peaceful transition of power begins his term by declaring for all the world to see that he is an enemy to the Constitution.
