Another #Digimom representative for #Mermay! #Ariemon only premiered last year in #DigimonLiberator, but she has easily quickly become one of my favorite Digimon. She is the perfect Mega for a Ranamon line that I always wanted!

I wanted to take another crack at my original character, Raine the #Ranamon's design. I changed her vest's color and gave her a nice witch hat. I can't believe I didn't think of the hat sooner. She is a sea witch, she deserves the big hat energy! #Digimon #Mermay

I have done so much fan art with only a handful of my original characters lately. Following Misty and Ranamon, for #Mermay I have one of my own mermaid characters! Arielle! She is a gilblin from #WorldofWarcraft, or a very short triton in #DnD. She has been used in both!

It's a weird coincidence that my trend based pictures this month both feature fitting characters for #Mermay. #Misty is called the Tomboyish Mermaid in #Pokemon and #Ranamon is descended from AncientMermaimon in #Digimon. Does that means I should make more fitting #Mermaid art?!

I decided to make some alterations on my Monster Battler Multi-Tool. I took the Mega Bracelet function out and moved the key stone into Kang's goggles. I could see the Mega Evolution symbol show up on the display when he activates the stone though, like the omni band in Pokémon Champions.

Torah, a character I have not drawn in a good long while. I gave her a new outfit much like Korana received previously. Korana probably would have liked this outfit more then either she was given. Outfit from a post by @NicoENVT on twitter.

ANOTHER! Redraw of Kang. My monster tamer oc that spans Pokemon, Digimon and Yugioh. I still wasn't satisfied with the pose upgrade on the digital redraw, so the plan was to just do gesture drawings to pick a pose, but I ended up liking the sketch to much I just turned it into another drawing.

A dear friend @jessebloodroad.bsky.social sent me this outfit originally made by @uglysaya.bsky.social. He wanted to see Korana, one of my oldest characters in it. However, Korana, being a tsundere, has her own opinions about it. At least Muro is there to try and make her feel better.

Tried a different coloring method for this Korana compared to the last, resulted in her hair looking darker here, and of course, she has her mask on. Sequel to: bsky.app/profile/iron...

The final monster on my list! Now all 18 I originally planned are done! I decided to sort of merge Timaeus' knight and dragon forms for this, putting the dragon in the knight's armor. Even though it is supposed to represent the Magidragon Fusion form in this line up, I thought it was a good look.

Chocolate Magician Girl! Personally, think she is the most unique of the 2nd Gen Magician Girls. With the nickname "Sweet Chocolate", I had to give her a chocolate bar. Only one monster left on my list after this one!

Much like the 1st Dark Magician I did in this series, I wanted to combine a few different looks of DMG for this look.

The 3rd Dark Magician variant in this series. The red one Arkana made popular. Nick named "Red Arkanis" in this group, and Akana and Arcanist similar to how Mana the Dark Magician Girl is named.

A small spin on the black armor version of Dark Magician I have given the name "Black Magus". The idea is that the different Dark Magician variants are actually separate people. Excluding the purple and blue ones that are just the Anime vs Main Card Game versions of Mahad.

I've made it to the Duel Monsters section of my designing monster outfits! #YuGiOh monsters already have distinct personalities, so rather than design a completely new outfit, I tried to have a unique color of Dark Magician combining aspects of his blue Manga/TCG armor and his purple Anime armor.

What's better then 1 SkullGreymon? 2! Geoffrey the SkullGreymon is much more of a punk then Georgey, more of what you expect from a SkullGreymon.

It may be Pokemon Day, but I still have more Digimon to dress up! This is Georgey the SkullGreymon. Unlike most SkullGreymon, Georgey is incredibly nice and sweet. He is based on a moment in an old Hacker's memory playthrough when my SkullGreymon said he made me a flower necklace.

Raine the Ranamon. I felt that she could use a coat to keep her warm. Lore wise it is also a nod to her Rookie form being a SnowAgumon.

Definitely the most drastic change so far, and probably will be the most drastic of the series. Greygory the EmperorGreymon.

Greyson the WarGreymon. Much like Greymond the BlackWarGreymon, he too wears a cloak reminiscent of his champion form. I thought about making his outfit different, but the two are canonically twins, so I felt their outfits should reflect that.

I've decided to do some minor outfits for my Digimon Team the same as I did for my Pokemon Team. However, since many Digimon already wear clothes, they will of course have much less custom outfits. Here. Greymond, my BlackWarGreymon is merely wearing a cloak with Greymon Virus' stripe pattern on it.

Random shout out to the monster battling games that let you cosplay to match the monsters you are using! #Yugioh had their World Championships 2010 (and later 2011 as well), #Pokemon has PokemonGO, and #Digimon now has Digimon Story Time Stranger! I wish more of their games let you do this!

I'm practicing using some new brushes in Krita to hopefully improve the quality of my digital illustrations. A redraw of a recent pen and ink sketch of Kang proved very fitting considering made his redesign last year. A good way to see my progress.

Behold! The great Leviathan! I demon lord in my DnD setting taking inspiration from an old Pokemon fusion I did as well as then Lovecraftian old ones and the Old Gods from Warcraft.

A new year resolution of mine is getting better with digital ink. I took my most recent pen and ink work and redrew it in Krita. There is definitely still room for improvement, but I think it turned out pretty good. Ranamon and Misty are a fun pair to draw! #Pokemon #Ranamon

I decided to do a (late) top 15 monsters list for #Pokemon, #Digimon, and #Yugioh. Then I made a collage out of the results! It was going to be a top 10, but I extended it for variety. Some entries are shared if they have the same name! Who out there can name all 45+ entries?

Finishing the year with a quick picture of Ranamon from #Digimon and my favorite version of Misty from #Pokemon. It has been a big year for both series. If Misty was a Digimon Tamer, maybe Ranamon would be her partner? They are both mermaid adjacent characters. 🤔

I saw this template floating around and decided to fill it out. Although I added something a little extra. I have both the play through team and the post game teams for each generation. Looking back, I think the only regret I have was using Wugtrio in Paldea instead of Paladin!

I figured after drawing his main #Pokemon team with new outfits I should draw Kang himself! Will this extend into his #Digimon Partners or #Yugioh Duel Monsters Deck? Who's to say?! I realize I never drew Kang with his monster multi-tool DuelDisk, Mega Bracelet, Digivice before.

A redraw of Winshell the #Blastoise from my series giving my main #Pokémon team unique outfits. Just in time for the #MegaDimensionsDLC! Fitting with Winshell's held item being the #Blastoisinite held in his goggles, matching his trainer Kang's goggles which hold the key stone.

Finely the Gyarados was very difficult to think of an outfit for. After all, how do you dress a danger noodle? I got inspired by Neptunemon from play Digimon Story Time Stranger and just the greek gods Neptune and Triton in general to make this king of the sea monsters design.

The dashing rogue, Kappoerio the Ludicolo. He is dressed in an outfit inspired by flamenco dancing and Zorro. His hat has several Damp Rocks equipped, but he will use the (very appropriate for today) Leftovers, and switch his outfit colors from blue to red to match the held item. #Pokemon #Ludicolo

This outfit for Axol the Swampert was very Aztec inspired. I got the idea after learning axolotls got their names from the azetic god Xolotl. Then upon looking up azetic clothing, I discovered that fish nest capes where a thing and thought that was perfect for a water starter.

Kunoi the #Greninja! Before reaching her final stage see looked up to Thaddeus the Poliwrath. As such, I wanted her outfit to be similar. Behind Pink instead of Red. Similar to Dark Magician Girl's colors just being a lighter hue to Dark Magician's in the manga color scheme. #Pokemon

It has been a hot minute since I posted some artwork! Things around me have been chaotic lately. I did this doodle of #Blastoise dressed as my main #Pokemon OC. I've been playing Pokemon Unite again so I have been inspired to make some outfits for my favorite Pokemon.
