After a great class discussion around how many different emotions we can all feel in one day, we created emotional rollercoasters to display these🎢😊😢😡😍

Using our new knowledge of ‘Show not Tell’ where we had to describe an emotion without saying it - something we came across in our T4W story - we challenged our peers to guess the emotion we were acting out🎭💫

We had a great time today in P.E. where we worked on positioning and the forehand racket grip🎾 We focused and passed the ball to our partners from the opposite ends of the gym hall💫

We were introduced to our new topic on Tuesday…THE RAINFOREST🌧️🌳

We wrapped up this week with some time to become engineers - very impressed at the creativity going on in P5💫

We finished up our HWB Trees of Life yesterday. We included our strengths, hopes, people we love, what we need to survive and aspects that make us unique individuals🌳

We learnt all about Bio poems this week and followed the structure of them to create our own🫶🏼

We created fabulous place value robots this week. We used all of our learning throughout the topic and input these into our robots🤖

We’ve had such a great time this week!! In P.E we practiced our tennis skills and work great in our pairs🎾

We did some great work this afternoon for our class novel. We read all about the main character then created word maps all about his characteristics and descriptions💫

We spoke all about RESPECT today and came up with so many ways we can be respectful in our lives. We used all of the fabulous ideas to create acrostic poems💫

We had a fabulous visit to the library on Tuesday📚📖 Many of us picked books and read with our friends. Some of us even managed to find 10 books that were part of our favourite series🧚🏼‍♀️🧚🏼

We started our new class novel on Monday… HOLES🕳️🪏 We looked at the front cover and first chapter and used lots of descriptive language to describe Camp Green Lake and even drew the deadly yellow-spotted lizard🦎

Check out our star-studded class charter🤩 We looked at the UNCRC and picked rights to highlight and discussed all of the responsibilities we have alongside these rights. We also looked to our school values to help decide on the responsibilities we wanted to focus on💫 @bowhouseps.bsky.social

We had great fun this afternoon playing with our friends💫

We watched clips of both Miss Trunchbull and Miss Honey and used lots of descriptive language to describe each of the characters💫

We wrote letters to ourselves to open at the very end of P5✉️ We wrote first drafts first then edited our writing and wrote them out on lined paper and sealed them in envelopes to forget about until June🤩💫

Using only 2 pieces of paper and scissors and glue we tried to create the longest paper chains possible!! We worked so well with our groups and tried to strategise the best way to complete the task💫

We had lots of fun during our team building exercise yesterday and worked well within our teams💫
