Lately I’ve been replaying some Resident Evil games on PS5/PC, but I’m trying not to get fully into that before Requiem’s release. Saving all that Resident Evil Hype Juice for then, but it’s been fun revisiting Raccoon City and Leon’s journey beforehand.

Hollywood is back, baby!

I have to say, I recently gotten an 8BitDo controller for use on my computer for retro games. It does feel different (in a good way) to have something that matches the original consoles I'm playing games off of, since playing platformers with the D-pads on an Xbox controller is atrocious

Checking out possible contenders on what to cover next for a video and found some good ones from NES/SNES. I’m still playing through them to get a feel for it, but it’s been fun!

Picking up Tears of the Kingdom again and after finally remembering what I was supposed to be doing, I got caught up in side quests again. So now, I’m back to forgetting what main quest I was working on for the last few months, lol.

I’ve put off continuing to read the Hobbit, mainly since my paperback’s disappeared into the ether until I recover it again

Next video’s looking good! Since a lot of people enjoyed the last video tackling Silent Hill, this next one I am excited to finish.

Just realized it's only been a WEEK since the New Year started. So many horrific events have been back to back.

Tried to work on something during this last week, of which I found out I had the flu, so the next video is looking to be taking much longer than I thought. Hopefully by the end of the month I’m still able to put something out!

My body must have sensed I’ve been overworked lately because today it literally went “yeah screw you, you’re bed-bound today” and I’m coughing and sneezing like nobody’s business.

Found out the PS5 can capture footage on its own, which is a god-send. I think to myself, if I had this ability back in '09, I'd probably would have made so many stupid Halo machinima (anybody remember that term?). Finally being able to do 4K gameplay and edit the clips so easily blows my mind!

Today has been productive! I not only have been chipping away at some scripts (when aren’t I) but I did end up not only recording the voice over for a video, but already completed the first pass of the edits for them. Now I just have to grab a lot of footage. I was gonna start a NG+ run anyway!

Ah, that last episode of the Beatles Anthology going over Anthology itself (which I believe is all-new footage, goodness!) was full of really heartwarming moments. I felt that was a glimpse of what it must have felt like then to see all of this new footage of them.

Having recently watched Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me and playing Silent Hill f has really enlightened me as to exactly how tortuous it is to be a teenage schoolgirl in either the Pacific Northwest or Japan.

Finished reading ‘Superman For All Seasons’. Brilliant little standalone story told from four different perspectives. Had me teary-eyed, and really struck me in a lot of ways emotionally. I used to be such a huge Superman fan as a kid, and now I feel that again all the more.

Apocalypse Now Which Cut Do I Watch Since There’s Like Three And I Can’t Tell Which To See First (1979, Dir. By Francis Ford Coppola)

The latest episode of Sunny felt like a pretty good return to form. I didn’t really wanna revisit a lot of the newer season episodes too often, but this season definitely had some episodes I’m going to be rewatching a bunch. The EMT one I’ve seen like three times already!

I made a comment and it ended up in a Jacksfilms video. I did not know this for like ten years.

Started a new Skyrim run last night. After finishing Oblivion Remastered a bit ago, I decided to continue my seafood-themed lineage of that character by having my new Skyrim character be another Redguard (a melee-focused build like before) and they’re named “Ceviche”.

If new rumors of Power rangers is just going to be MMPR again I really at hope least it could be animated. Maybe going in a similar vibe as the Boom Comics were or something. I’m beginning to accept the possibility we may not get live action Power Rangers for an even longer time than so far.

Booted up RDR2 for the first time since apparently January according to steam and I still instantly got blown away by how good it looks and feels. Love this game to hell
