Taking place every July, #DisabilityPrideMonth was created to raise awareness of the range of disabilities and the struggles faced by those who identify as disabled. The first Disability Pride flag was created by writer Ann Magill in 2019.

In 1978 San Gilbert Baker started working on multiple designs for a flag that could serve as a symbol of the #2SLGBTQIA+ community, The 🏳️‍🌈 flags were flown f/t 1st time at the San Francisco #Gay Freedom Day Parade June 25th, 1978.

After this, the backlash to Bryant’s bigotry campaign intensified. Boycotts grew & sentiment shifted. Hate never wins. Sometimes a pie does tho.
