Reading Batman: The Black Mirror TPB I bought as part of my #BatmanDay spoils. It collects Detective Comics #871-881. The stories and art are top notch, atmospheric, horrific. But I just don’t like Dick as Batman. Something grates for me. Strange, as Dick is one of my favorite comic characters.🤷‍♂️

When I think of Brian Bolland covers, the first one that comes to mind is The Killing Joke, which absolutely devastated me when it was published. But it is iconic.

It’s once again #SheHulkSunday! I loved her pairing with Jack.

What movie do you consider perfect?

For #BatmanDay, I want to share one of my favorite Bat-series, which is Batman: Wayne Family Adventures. It's such a fun series, suitable for all ages, but it includes quite a few episodes that make readers think. It's terrific.

Did FINALLY find the wherewithal to get ready for the day and go to my LCS to pick up my pulls. They were having a sale for #BatmanDay, so I picked up three trades and also received the free Batman issue. Sweet!

Why am I being so lazy today? Sigh. I want to get my [insert body part here] in gear so I can go to the LCS, but I am feeling no energy… Think of those comics, guy! Do it!

For #BatmanDay, who is your favorite Bat-villain? Mine is Two-Face. Honorable mention goes to Ventriloquist, who had a great classic gangster feel and was particularly creepy.

My Batman #1 Blind Bag had the Julian Totino Tedesco Foil cover variant. Perhaps not one of the rare ones, but blind bags are still fun!
