Apparently Elon Musk addressed the Far Right march in London at the weekend, basically telling people that violence was coming and to get stuck in! How is this man allowed to keep interfering in the political life of our nation? Do his billions absolve him from any responsibility for his words??

Just back from a few days away, including a brief visit to Leeds to my parents' grave (a Sept tradition). I found the number of St George's flags flying from motorway quite disturbing. Union Flags on lamp posts slightly less so - interestingly more than half flying upside down!

While I'm having a rant... it really annoys me when naturist resorts or organisations use stock images of 'perfect' (young, slim, toned and tanned) naked bodies to promote themselves and/or naturism. This goes against the whole ethos of body freedom / positivity, acceptance and mutual respect.

I spend lot of time on social media. But I'm not 'doomscrolling' - I'm looking out for signs of positivity, hope and encouragement to lift my spirits and pass on to others in a celebration of life which defies the troubling times. Apparently this is called 'gleefreshing' or 'hopescrolling'.

What better way to free yourself from all the stresses of modern living - shed the clothes and shed the cares and simply reconnect with nature!

That was bracing! The scheduled St Ninian pilgrimage was relocate to a local church, but no one told me and the dogs and we had a lovely time anyway!

I was at a cafe church event in the next village this morning, which was quite nicely done. The church there closed a year or so back, and this was organised by the 2 neighbouring congregations. But the minister was lamenting that there was no one from the village present.

I had 5 new follows this morning. I've blocked all but one - who doesn't claim to be a naturist. The others used that label but were clearly either bots or pornmongers. 😥

I'm all for celebrating the naked human body (be that male or female), but I am dubious when people are clearly just looking for complements. Even more so when they invite sexualised interactions, or say things like 'always horny' or 'love to be seen naked where I shouldn't be'. #notnaturism

Have I just coined a new term for the naturist/nudist community? Is a blog post earlier today I came up with the phrase 'intentionally unclothed' which I quite like, and don't think I've stolen from anyone else... but perhaps I'm wrong?

We often hear debates about terminology - naturism-v-nudism, naked-v-nude etc. Personally, as a naturist and a Christian, I prefer the concept of nakedness over that of nudity. I feel it embodies a far greater depth of meaning than simply wearing no clothes. Nudity, to me, is about bare bodies. 1/2

I just read some statistics from British plastic surgeons. Apparently last year 3600 trans people under 18 underwent procedures to alter their physical appearance. At the same time some 22k non-trans teenagers went thro similar procedures to 'improve' the gender characteristics they were born with.

For those who need to hear this: *Naturist* does not mean 'sexual exhibitionist' or 'swinger'. Being *gay* does not equate with being sexually promiscuous, or looking to hook up with anything with a d!ck. And being a *gay naturist* still doesn't automatically mean it's okay to hit on that person!
