Primary 1 love creating their own stories 🤩 Two pupils wrote their own stories when playing, transferring writing skills, with great imagination, story structure and fantastic detailed drawings. So proud of you E and L! 📖

Primary 1 enjoyed exploring odd and even numbers today. We read ‘Even Steven and Odd Todd’ and hopped on the Odd and Even Bus to discover which numbers could pair up. 🔢 🚌

This little storyteller couldn’t wait to share his exciting adventure with me! He created his own story map and used it to help him tell his story. 📖 It’s great to see literacy skills being transferred in play. I’m so proud of you C! ⭐️

As part of our TfW unit on procedural writing, P6/7 had to follow a set of instructions they wrote on ‘How to Make a Jam Sandwich’. They learned the importance of using detail within their instructions after some sandwiches didn’t turn out as planned!

After lunch, Primary 1 returned to our classroom to find mysterious footprints and clues left behind… 🐾👀 Our P1 detectives had great fun predicting and investigating who could have visited us! 🔍🐻

These P1 girls were very busy planning and designing their own town. They included a bus station, a pond, and a park! I can’t wait to see you create this girls! 🏘️🚌
