A recent article by Sanna et al. in the #FireEcology Journal highlights how surface fuels drove burn severity in the OR Bootleg Fire. Rx burning was an effective and economical treatment to reduce burn severity, buffer effects of canopy cover. ow.ly/eBE850WGbIe
