I want to be free of my corporate job so badly. But I still need a job to pay bills. It’s making every day so hard right now. I’m exhausted from work stress, unable to be authentic self with my art because of said job, and I’ve been applying to other types of work to ghosting or rejections. :’(

I’m making a little zine series. Here’s the first one… Combining my love of robots and cryptids.

I appreciate the worried messages regarding my real life stuff going on. But honestly, I start crying when I think about it. I just need a minute, ya know? (It’s nothing dire, it’s just my job is now in question and I gotta make a plan b plan asap.)

So I have these 2 inch stickers that are too small for a regular sticker display. So I made a display for them with foam core, glitter paper and vertical biz card holders. 👍

Everything is loaded in the kiln. In 24 hours I’ll pop it to see what survived! *fingers crossed* For anyone in Rhode Island area, I’ll be selling at the Providence Flea on Sunday!

I’m just self indulging in fan art because everything is terrible. Hey look, The Amazing Digital Circus! The characters were way more fun to draw than I expected. The hardest was Caine for sure. Expect more of this over the coming weeks… I’m going to draw each of my current fave shows.

Hot take: I miss Blogger/Livejournal days. I miss composing blog posts with pictures and talking about the thing I’m interested in with fan art/pics. Watching a video just isn’t the same. I actually hate how “content” has to be videos now. And apps like this with character limits sucks.

For the briefest of moments I considered taking Friday off and going down to Anime NYC since so many cool artists will be there. $77 for a 1 day badge. Just to get in the door. Okay, it’s NYC, but really??? So I guess I’ll look at the pretty arts with my eyes and not with my wallet. 🥲

I’m on a staycation this week. I decided to start over on this comic I started a while back. And begin with a shorter intro story. I’m 100% giving myself carpel tunnel but I’m also really happy with how much better I can draw now. Practicing drawing has made a huge difference. Before and after.
