Humans bedtime is cancelled.

Decided against sleep in the end.

Can’t settle on a sleeping position tonight. Maybe this is the one?

The human says if they slept like this they would have a sore neck. Not a concern for me.

And the humans say they have had a busy week? They have no idea how busy I have been.

The travelling human is back tomorrow. I can’t wait. The remaining human is pretty good though.

Big yawn. A new cardboard box, another flying insect and some loud weather today. I’ll sleep well. Until about 5am. I will notify the human that it is time to wake up then.

The wait for the weekend is nearly over. Spending Friday night as I mean to continue.

Having a wee break from my flying insect hunting. But, let’s be clear, this is not over.

There is a flying insect on the ceiling. Bedtime is delayed, for everyone, until this issue is resolved.

Yawn. Is it not the weekend yet?

One of the humans is away for a week tomorrow. It’s up to me to look after the remaining human. I’m contemplating. How best to look after the remaining human? And, how to turn this situation to my advantage?

Yes human. I’m fine sleeping like this. Unlike you I have an incredible expandable spine. And, I’m not as old as you.

The humans out all day. What were they doing? It matters not. They returned and fed me. Normal service has resumed.

Patiently waiting for dinner earlier. ‘No, I’m fine humans. I’ll just stay like this. No need to feed me immediately’

In ‘lump’ mode tonight. Big stripy lump. I will stay like this until the the humans bedtime. Then, I will get busy. Very busy.

Big yawn and some whiskers. The humans inform me the better part of the week is coming. I’ll be the judge of that.

Full tail on display. I use it for comfort, balance and communication among other things. When the humans try and communicate, they just make unintelligible talking noises. I have, in fairness, worked out some things they say. I do worry about them not having a tail though.

Some quality leg time. I’m a wee bit big for the legs these days but I find a way. Also, good luck with the hair human. Shedding season is well under way.

Earlier today I sat on on the couch and contemplated. Why do the humans take so long to prepare their food? Mine takes mere minutes. And, why do they not share their food with me?

No, I’m not comfortable human. I sleep like this to make myself photogenic.

While I wait for the humans to complete their Monday, I’ll just have a good clean.

All 4 paws still on display. And, a good wee belly rub. I shall disparage Friday night no further. Still looking forward to Saturday morning though.

The humans saying they are doing ‘nothing’ this Saturday night. I beg to differ. This is everything.

After delicate negotiations the cushion is back. Normal service has resumed.

Where’s my cushion? I’ll sleep in this position until it is provided.

Read the tail human. I enjoyed a good brushing but, it’s over.
