First things first — do not be fooled by the cover. We’re all familiar with the current historical fiction cover trend: a woman facing away from the reader (𝘸𝘩𝘺??). It gives a…what’s the word — 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥? 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺? 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦?…impression. This book is none of those things. This is a book about revenge. 🧵

1. Walk into your local library and ask a librarian how you can help. 2. Attend the next library, school board, or city council meeting to express your support for libraries. 3. Run for office or support local politicians who are standing up for your rights.

4. Apply for a library card if you don’t have one already and USE it. 5. Join your local Friends of the Library organization. 6. Take to the streets! Gather friends and family and wave signs of support outside your local library.
