It's been a long time since MVDP raced so timidly.

Not that my opinion on this matters, but I want to come back on this rather than just delete thus. It was a dumb statement. Vingegaard's riding was tactically sound and a rider racing in a way that is unattractive to my taste, doesn't mean he's riding like a coward or that I get to call him that.

The CCES Report, the IOC's own (!) research, a recent Brazilian meta study: all evidence points towards trans women not having sporting advantages over cis women. This decision is only motivated by transphobia and extreme right politics.

This is horrible news. Not only because of the blatant transphobia of the IOC, but also because the reintroduction of sex testing through SRY tests will out quite a few female athletes (who don't know they have a Y chromosome) as intersex. This is horrendous discrimination of women and trans people.

I got kicked out of a fantasy team competition for saying Pog crashing due to a Sudanese flag would be justified. I stand by that statement. If you promote genocide, getting harmed by a protest by the opressed is reaping what you sow. I will never apologise for opposing genocide and its promotors.

Reminder that protest in sports aren't new and that in an era of genocide and disastrous climate change they are to be expected. Complaining about the form those protests take only confirms the privilege of your own position.
