As much as I generally enjoyed #StrangeNewWorlds throughout the first and second seasons, Season 3 is definitely a low point. It's not entirely without its enjoyable moments, but I wouldn't be inclined to give a single S3 episode a grade higher than a 'C.' 😐

While Episode 9 of #StrangeNewWorlds didn't represent deep hurting like the previous episode did, it was still wildly annoying to see a perfectly serviceable "Enemy Mine" type story get ruined because, once again, the writers couldn't resist the need to shoehorn in some utterly lame FaN SeRvIcE.

I heard Episode 8 of this season of #StrangeNewWorlds was bad, but good god, I wasn't expecting "involuntary eye twitching" levels of bad. Franchise-levels of bad. Indeed, up there with "Spock's Brain, Code of Honor" and "Threshold." Holy fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu....

#StrangeNewWorlds Season 3 Episode 7 I'm trying to decide what annoyed me more; Beto's conflation of doubting contrarianism with intellectual questioning or his inexcusably horrendous camera work and editing. He seemed to really want to indulge in his interest in people's pores. 🤣

Remembering the very first time I patronized a #TwinPeaks restaurant and being disappointed that the name wasn't referring to a David Lynch theme. The servers speaking backwards might have been a bit much, but lunch in The Red Room would have been a memorable experience.
