Basil Kirchin – Abstractions Of The Industrial North [Trunk Records reissue 2005. Originally 1966] The album is a stunning jazz suite. That's not surprising as Kirchin never disappoints. Originally recorded for the De Wolfe music library and credited to The London Studio Group. #musicsky

Chuck Wendig. The Staircase in the Woods. 2025 The concept caught my attention, like doorways appearing where they shouldn't, the idea of stand-alone staircases in isolated locales captures the uncanniness of liminal spaces.
