Astral Social Club, Vibracathedral Orchestra, Futurist Bags, you know the score. Day job in a11y.
OK, this may be the first thing I've released this year, recorded last week, feeling fresh for Friday. 7 songs, 41 minutes, pay-whatever download and small run cottage industry CDR. x

Seriously the most unacknowledged and influential band of the 1980s. "Pay No More Than 49p" opened so many young minds. Shaved Women is a fucking PARTY BANGER too.

Disappointed I'll miss my favourite ever NZ band Surface of the Earth in London in November, but I've just sorted out a lone UK date for Paul Toohey's solo K-Group thing in Todmorden on 20/11. More details soon.

Spent a day hanging out with Virgin Prunes at London Lyceum in 1983. My pal Dougie ended up being part of their performance. They were sweethearts, we were starstruck 17yr olds.

Been talking with a pal who's just discovered Wasted Youth. One of the great forgotten bands of the early 80s, maybe missing link between the Hawkwind and Bowie/Lou kids before them and the Spacemen 3 kids after them. Have loved this tune for 40+ years.

Sad to announce that, due to unforseen circumstances, Vibracathedral Orchestra won't be performing this Saturday in Bristol. We got a wild spontaneous ensemble doing extatic drone in as a consolation, though. Also fuckin ledges Yoke, local freak Patsy and the unparalalleled Nina Garcia on the go
