Spent a day hanging out with Virgin Prunes at London Lyceum in 1983. My pal Dougie ended up being part of their performance. They were sweethearts, we were starstruck 17yr olds.

Had a fun time yesterday afternoon, first time I've spun records at Seven by Seven.

Played music in real time, live in a room together with other people tonight for the first time in maybe 6 months. Felt immense, I've really missed it.

Finally got around to reading the JAMC book (thanks @kirkleeslibrary.bsky.social). Couldn't put it down - inspiring, bit sad at times, but above all funny af. Haven't laughed out loud at a book as much for ages. Fantastic work Ben Thompson for bringing the Reids' voices alive.
