In his State of the Nation Address, President Cyril Ramaphosa committed to improving Early Childhood Development, saying: "Our immediate focus is to expand access to early childhood development for every child..."

President Ramaphosa continues to make vague comments. In his #SONA2025 he mentions: “The SRD Grant will be expanded to create a more sustainable source of income." We need a proper plan on how he plans to transition to a Basic Income Grant. Vague comments on the R370 grant will just not cut it!
