In my ex homeland Christmas decorations were a competition of who could draw the most attention. Here in peaceful Sweden it’s unthinkable to decorate with anything other than The Advent Star. It is a metaphor, after 45 yrs here I have come to greatly respect the quite sanity of the Swedes.

There is one good thing that Dumpy Trumpy’s despicable post about The Reiners murder has accomplished, Ivanka is on the verge of a breakdown, so much money, so few invitations, and she can totally forget about ANY from Hollywood types.

Stockholm is crazy with fireworks on New Years Eve so the city hosts a “Bring Your Dog” party in a huge underground (sound proof) bunker where people with dogs who don’t like fireworks can come and celebrate the New Year. I feel so fortunate to live in such a wonderful place.

Swedish Geography lesson…. Winter has come to Stockholm. We go from 24hrs of sunlight & green green green on the ground to short days of gray skies & white white white on the ground. The bright side is I can walk a block & get on a never ending Xcountry ski trail right in the middle of the city.
