the girls have been playing tag so I looked up all their body language and such and apparently it’s very healthy play-hunting 🥺 they’re gentle, take turns, turn their backs to each other, and take breaks

I would say Lies of P as well but soulslikes are not for the faint of heart lol

me: hm maybe I shouldn’t have gotten a kitten to help Tulip… after all, she’s calmed down so much the past few weeks. maybe that phase is finally- Tulip as I type this: zooming up and down the hall outside my room and using my door as a launchpad over and over

also if you want similar games I think NieR: Automata, BG3, and Octopath 2 gave me similar feelings

speaking of, Hades 2 should have won. not only is it an incredible game, they actually drew their placeholders. if not Hades 2 then Silksong.

it really sucks that e33 will forever be tainted, despite the otherwise beautiful elements and hard work of the VAs, all because they used a little bit of completely avoidable AI. sacrificed their reputation forever over a placeholder.

she's pretty much fine with Clover now, will turn her back to her, eat next to her, etc- she still dislikes getting ambushed and gently hisses, which is good. teaching her boundaries.

Clover has been a chest cat but she just discovered legs and she really likes it… uh oh… that’s Tulip’s fav spot

I don't want to keep them in the same room all the time now because if they're still not 100% sure of one another it'll start to stress them out. but I'll do short sessions where they get rewards at the end and gradually work our way up to it.

they had a supervised session today while I counted stock and Tulip watched Clover while loafing. if Clover got too close she'd lightly hiss and Clover would immediately back away. Tulip is curious about her and followed her a bit after, but didn't stalk her and was able to eat treats near her.

OKAY today I have to take photos of everything for the new update, not sure when the actual update will be yet... I have a lot to do this weekend and still have to design the graphic

I keep looking at photos of adult ginger/white cats to see what Clover is going to look like. I can't believe one day she'll be big. she's so small now

I always wonder if Fetti thought of me as she passed... I feel so bad I wasn't there, but I try to tell myself she would have been very sad and stressed to hear me crying in her final moments, so it was for the best. I wonder if she was a kitten again, a happy middle schooler taking her home.

poor Clover REALLY likes the house and exploring so I feel bad that I can't always release her until Tulip is happily napping in another room lol. but it's good she's happy

Tulip playing, eating, and snuggling like normal means she feels secure and trusts me so I really don't want to shatter that trust by introducing Clover until she's 100% ready

Tulip is alert and walks away when she realizes Clover is behind the door but she no longer hisses. and she'll eat a little bit of a Churu before walking away, even sharing the same one Clover is licking from. I hope that's good progress.

she wanted to play with Goku today but she was being very gentle and wasn't sure how to get him LOL

I haven't put up my VO booth curtains yet because I needed to get a lot done first and Tulip has been sleeping on them... it's her fav spot and idk what I'm going to do LOL. maybe I'll put a bed in there under the desk?

all of this is making me remember baby Fetti... she was such a good kitten. she was extremely mature even when she was little, never attacked me a single time even playfully, never went crazy. just stayed docile her whole life lol

I check on her when she sleeps every couple of hours just to make sure everything is alright and she’s just. so little

Clover is also pretty gentle and good with boundaries already (she knows you don't attack people, just toys) because she's the best and smartest kitten in the whole world so I hope she won't overwhelm Tulip too often

I put the cat tree Tulip loves in Clover's room and she slept on it all night, then moved that tree back into my room and Tulip napped on it. so I think the scent swapping is going well.

when I put Clover down for her nap today she didn't protest at all afterwards so I think she's finally feeling very secure and knows I'll come get her later

I opened the door to check on Clover before I sleep and heard her little beeps somewhere but couldn't see her... she had run out and was sitting behind me all cute and waiting for me to notice her 😭💗

admittedly I’m a little bit tired and anxious about the kitten but I just have to remind myself that one day she’ll grow up and mature and piss me off by sitting on my dinner like Tulip 💕

Tulip isn’t really a chest cat she likes laying on your legs as they slowly spread apart until she looks like a hot dog

I cracked the door open while Clover was sleeping and threw my shirt I wore today onto her bed. she grabbed it and snuggled into it. cuteness aggression

the Love and Deepspace thing is crazy to me LOL all that work from the team and voice actor down the drain because he looked too gay 😭

Goku is fine with Clover. he rolls over and shows his tummy and allows her to come to him. they keep sniffing noses and following one another and are now comfortable sitting next to each other. still a tiny bit cautious/curious but pretty much fine with each other now!

I've never heard Tulip hiss before now and she has such a gentle and kinda cute hiss... my pretty princess
