On a plane back to LA! What a month! My face is still slightly numb, but that's gonna take a couple of months to heal up. Thank you to everyone to who had kind words to say regarding my brain surgery. I'll see you all at MomoCon!

A comment I get a lot, and I'm sure tons of other indie animation projects get, is "why doesn't this have more views?" and the answer is the algo. If you really want to find new stuff, you're gonna have to dig. We all put "indie animation" in our tags, you just gotta search!

I think my favorite thing about Starstruck right now is our credits theme. It's so cute, lo-fi, and simple! Every time I hear it, it reminds me of the possibilities this project could have. My good friend Matthew wrote it and our composer, Michael Drew, added a cool synth that makes pop amazingly!

Saw Thomas Dolby tonight and it was a bit of a bummer. He's one of my musical heroes and he mostly played a mash-up set of covers that overlapped and interconnected like a symphony and like...yeah, cool...but I wanna hear stuff off your records. He also used some gen AI in his visuals. Eugh.

Hey guys, real talk, the last week has been insanely rough. I think the swelling in my head is at it's peak, which stinks. Just exhausting and I wanna go back to LA so bad.

I feel like if you took pretty much any individual song off The Green Album (sans Crab maybe?), you'd be like "what a perfect pop rock song!". I guess when you group them all together, people can't handle the sugariness.

Trying to get back to normal, but man, my eye is SWOLLEN. Sparing you the details with sun glasses. I'm still gonna be pretty numb for a while, but once that swelling goes down, that's half the battle.

Those @weezer.bsky.social ticket prices...woof. I've seen this band many, MANY times and never have I see the prices this bad. Look, I get it, The Shins and Silversun Pickups too, but 70 bucks for nosebleeds where you can't see anything is insulting.

Gotta be honest, not digging the recovery process of this brain surgery lol. Supposedly a month out I'll be a-OK, but holy shit, the things I'm feeling. And I've DONE this before. I don't remember it feeling this shit!

RIP Sam Keith. When I think of artists that defined a decade and then persisted to rock everything they touched well passed it, Sam will always come to mind. Read and watch The Maxx and Batman: Through The Looking Glass.

Saw The Bride. I think people are being a BIT harsh on it, but it is a flawed flick. That being said, it's also a lot of fun! Lots of really cool visuals, good performances, and interesting takes on the lore. It just felt too overstuffed.

I feel bad that I haven't been promoting a lot of my stuff lately. I'm going through a rough patch in my life that I'll talk about soon, but man, the internet has a way of making you feel completely irrelevant if you stop posting on socials for a bit. Absolutely toxic and horrid.
