I have worked so hard to lose weight. I’m down almost 14lbs. While I have at LEAST 30 more to go, I feel so much better. I can fit into pants and shirts I wasn’t able to before!

I am overwhelmed by y’all’s generosity thank you so much! I should hopefully have enough snacks to get us by for a few months, you guys purchased lots of snacks! Thank you for helping the “snack momma” as they call me, and more importantly THANK YOU FOR FEEDING HUNGRY STUDENTS!

I tried to put some cheap snacks on there but any help is appreciated. Many students go home to no dinner at night and no food on the weekends. I try to help where I can, but I seem to have a lot of hungry kids this year and want to help them. Even sharing this would be super helpful!

Every single fucking resource I use in my classes has to be approved. My curriculum is a shell that I have to fill in because there are no textbooks. How can I spend all this time getting shit approved? I have no time. Teachers quit bc of shit like micromanaging. Fucking MAGA needs to step back.

Today I found out I’m losing my coordinator stipend and my husband is losing his dept chair stipend. We will also no longer get bonuses for our AP scores. That, combined, is a $6k loss for us. Please send up some well wishes to the universe. We could really use them. #teacherproblems

Love how I filled out a supply order at the end of the school year in May. Today I got 1/4th of the supplies I requested. One highlighter instead of a box of highlighters, to give you an example. And most of what I TRULY need, I didn’t even get a fraction I 💕 teaching but this is not sustainable

Man. I love my job most days but I wish it paid enough for me to actually be able to buy new clothes. I’m literally wearing the same clothes I wore ten years ago teaching. At least the clothes have held up!

So my ex bff blocked me on all social media and our phones. Why is it I just now realized, after 5 months, I can still see her location? I sure as shit don’t want to nor do I want her seeing mine!

I’m really having a hard time losing our cat. I wasn’t woken up at 4AM to meows. I don’t hear the pitterpatter of her feet following me to make my morning coffee. She’s not laying on the recliner with me while I drink my coffee. My husband is out of town so I was alone. I dug a grave alone. 😕
