I'm almost done building my master list of the mirror/reflection themes of the Inquisitor and Solas. It's quite extensive. I have no evidence but my goodness it feels like these two were written in tandem. Everything down to symbolism, events, physicality, game mechanics, story and people.

A lot of Fade sex (both in dreams & physically in the Fade). So there have been a lot of imaginative places. The Dread Wolf has taken (ahem) Saethre all over Ancient Arlathan and the sex is great. But the weirdest is the Black City in the most traumatic & dramatic part of their story (for reasons).

Saethre doesn't seek it out but she's not afraid of it either. Being First of Clan Lavellan taught her how to handle, negotiate, navigate other people and cultures. As Inquisitor she knows she's playing a role and plays it well. She certainly enjoys Solas' attention and doesn't discourage it ever.

Long before DAV came out, like way before I thought decisions in Trespasser would affect the starting position of the new protagonist in DA4. Disbanding Inquisition would give New Protag more stealth, less resources but access to contacts in underbelly of society.
