I just ran a check on my computer and it turns out that my CPU is too old to run Win 11. That's some real BS. So I can switch to Linux, but Adobe/CSP might not work correctly anymore or only with workarounds. Or I can stay on Win10 and pay more every year for a security update.

I am living in my new flat now. The water is running in the sink but the oven is still on the fritz. So I am now living on things that I can heat up in the microwave + buying additional veggies.

The last week before I move. I am currently exploring design ideas for my room and I like a forest or autumn theme with nut, mushrooms, trees, frogs and alike. Which doesnt mean that I can get it done. ^^ Also, seeing DIY things like this makes we want to get creative again and do it myself. ^^

With Win11 looking like an AI scanner for your PC, and a 60$/Y update for W10 not being a good deal either, I am considering Linux. Do you guys use it? I read that adobe still doesn't support it? I think even microsoft teams works on Linux. You CAN use WINE to run it if you have to I guess.

My process of moving is a series of inconveniences ^^° From the placement of the waterline in the kitchen, to the washing machine not having a place in the bath, to the door that is just 10 cm too far to one side for the bed to fit and more. ^^

Green stuff - a 2 component clay (?) . I tried working with it, but so far haven't gotten the hang of how to handle it to create details like these. It needs water to not stick like glue and timing to reach the correct amount of firmness that you need. Really tricky stuff. I prefer Beesputty.

If you are living alone or perhaps just with 1 other person: Do you actually own a dishwasher? I have one because my parents had one and handed the kitchen to us when they renovated. But I use it only 1/week. Now that I have to move, I am thinking of a 45cm washer or none at all.

My brother and I finished the wallpaper work in our new flat, but man was that a chore. We had to sand down the walls first, which took 1 day. Followed by 4 days of glueing wallpaper. Would have been a lot easier with a thicker wallpaper, especially on these high walls (2,8m).

Moving to a different city is a pain. Especially here in Germany where we take everything with us, unlike the Americans where the kitchen etc is already there when you move in.

I just found out that vampire crabs exist and I am now thinking of ways to implement them into my DND campaign. >XD
