P3b made lovely Grinch themed biscuits for our Grinch Day💚🎄

P5b have been expressing their artistic side this week with some step-by-step drawing activities and then creating a Northern Lights style background for their polar bears. We have loved the results!

P7b have been getting in the Christmas spirit by celebrating Christmas jumper day, partying, learning British sign language, completing Christmas themed maths mysteries and more. We hope everyone has a fabulous time over the festive period.

P4b have been getting in the festive mood, creating some wonderful Christmas similes!

P2b Christmas Party Yesterday, we had lots of fun at our Christmas Party! There was lots of singing, dancing and exciting games. Santa gave everyone a lovely present. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from P2b.

P7A have been working hard to cumulatively read one million words as part of Accelerated Reader, and today they achieved that target! 🌟 Such a fantastic effort…and just in time for Christmas!

P5a used oil pastilles to create a Winter Northern Arctic Sky scene. We loved how effective they were✨

Primary 4a have been getting festive by writing Christmas acrostic poems🎄✨

P4b completed a Banksy artist study and have been creating their own 'graffiti style' artwork inspired by Banksy.

P3b have been learning all about Ancient Egypt and yesterday we made our own Egyptian jewellery. We are so proud of how cool and pretty they turned out ☺️

P2b PATHs Pupil of the Day Today Bobbi is our PATHs pupil of the day. Her friends gave her lots of nice compliments.

Primary 4a have been busy exploring instructional writing! ✏️✨ This week, we used The Grinch as our inspiration, but with a twist. Instead of stealing Christmas, we wrote clear, step-by-step instructions on how to save Christmas! 🎄💚

P6a made scones for Todholm Tearooms last Friday!

Both Primary 1 classes performed their Christmas Celebration today, followed by some very fun Christmas Activities for our families to enjoy. We are so proud of our superstars, they gave an incredible performance and filled the school with Christmas Spirit! Well done Primary 1!

P5a have been working on Yoga this term to strengthen our bodies and our minds. We have loved forming partner poses together!

P3b were learning how to use British Sign Language (BSL) to talk about Christmas🎄 We worked in groups to create our own Christmas story using BSL.Then, we learned about how to use BSL to show different things about Christmas. We liked seeing how to sign all of our favourite Christmas treats☺️

P3a have been developing their number sense through the use of thinking boards. We understand the importance of being able to use different strategies for different calculations.

Primary 4A have been busy identifying hot and cold colours—and they used their new skills to make gorgeous sunset artwork this afternoon. Amazing effort from everyone!

Volunteers from P7A & P7B did a fantastic job running our stall at the Christmas Fayre last weekend! 🎄A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, as all money raised is going towards funding our P7 end of year celebrations 🥳

P2b were learning how to use BSL (British Sign Language) this morning. We made up our own Christmas story. Then we learned about how to use BSL to share and show different Christmas foods.

P6a have been linking meta-skills to our PATHS lessons!

Primary 5B started their own bands using loose parts as instruments this week!

Primary 6B have been helping clean-up the local area by litter picking and tidying up. They filled 3 bin bags with rubbish! Go team!

As part of our 'Life Below Water' topic, Primary 4b have been working have to create ocean dioramas, demonstrating their understanding of coral reefs and a variety of underwater species.🐋🌊
