Flowers, loofas, eggplants, and more. Wow, what a colorful year on the farm. Rise & Root Farm was filled with an abundance of crops this year. So many hours went into watering, nurturing, and growing these beauties. Can’t wait to see all that we grow next year!

Last month, we hosted a Hudson Valley craft event on the farm! It was so fun to all come together, laugh, and learn. Can’t wait for more craft events in the future!

Every day we sit down to eat and enjoy a meal, it’s important to remember the people and labor behind our food. Outdoor workers are essential to our food system — without them, it would crumble. Yet many of these same workers, many of whom are undocumented, are targeted in ICE raids.
