Shadow Tactics is an incredibly good game so far but that difficulty curve is brutal. I can **only** assume they intended for all players to be intimately familiar with Commandos because someone new to the genre would be completely screwed.

Looking into a game on Steam, odd spike in negative reviews. Suspiciously vague mentions of devs supporting "terrorists" in 2020. I'm proud of myself for correctly guessing it's The Gamers (tm) being pissy about BLM.

Really disappointing that Commandos 3 was so crap because I'm enjoying 2 so much and really want more. Maybe it's time to look into Desperados and other spritual successors?

Commandos 2 is still just as good as I remember but wow is it exhausting. I can't tell if my memories of playing it when I was little are being time-compressed or whether I just have way fewer spoons than I used to.
