Good night Jesus. I love when You do things no one else can take credit for. Such a powerful, unplanned move of Your Spirit in worship this morning. People just started coming to the altar. Not only to pray, but to be changed! Thank You for letting me be a part of what You do!✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Joy shouldn’t be rare among Christians. It should be everywhere and contagious. The Bible says count it ALL joy, not sometimes or some things. Help me walk in joy today no matter what!✌🏼

Good night Jesus. I’m still basking in a simple but powerful prayer time with a few believers tonight. It wasn’t flashy, or hyped up but Your presence was more real than feelings. It was in earth as it is in heaven. That shouldn’t be so rare. We just need to believe Your truth.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. War! Prophecy! Woke up to a changed world. But who I am created to be in You hasn’t changed. It’s not time for fear or dread–it’s time to shine. Let my life be a light that shines Your love to everyone I encounter. I’m seeking heavenly things, not headlines.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. The same storm. Both the wise man and the foolish faced the same storm, even though the wise heard and obeyed your Words. The storm was after the Word, it wasn’t punishment for falling short. Circumstances don’t define truth. Sometimes a storm is just a storm.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. It’s easy to point at wrong in others and condemn. That’s not love. Love keeps no record of wrongs. Believes all things. Hopes all things. Help me walk in love believing the best in people, not evaluating the worst. There is no condemnation in You–either way!✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Taking no thought for tomorrow is a discipline. It’s not like denying reality. I still know what’s looming. The blessing is not having to stress about it right now, because it hasn’t happened yet. That’s so freeing! Why would I choose stress instead of peace?✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Don’t let me mistake rightness for righteousness today. Rightness wins arguments. Righteousness is becoming like You and walking in the fruit of the Spirit. Rightness can excuse little sins to fight against big sins. Love is Your standard for righteousness.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. I preached for about an hour in the car today. To nobody. I’m days away from 60 but there’s this childlike joy because I’m still getting to know You more and more. I used to spend hours on outlines and illustrations. Today it just flowed out of knowing You.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Colossians 3 is like looking in the mirror to see who we are created to be in You. We are to take off the old selfish man and put on the new man of love, but we live like that’s not even possible. Your truth sets us free if we believe it. Hello new creature!✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Not my will. You prayed that the night You were betrayed. You taught us to pray the Father’s will be done. That’s the cure for selfishness. Denying ourselves by submitting our will. Being more concerned about the needs of others is to die to our own will.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Can’t imagine thousands of hungry people and then hearing from You, “Feed them.” How? With what? These few leftovers? But it wasn’t really up to the disciples. You had a miracle ready to go. I’m believing that today. Here are my loaves and fish to multiply!✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Pretty tough day physically and logistically if I were to live according to circumstances. My life is in You–not what happens around me. You are enough in me to handle anything that happens to me. Good tidings of great joy are mine all the time! What tough day?✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. I’m simply a believer. Not just about You, but I believe IN You and that You are in me. Not just to get me to heaven but to get heaven into me. I believe in abundant life now. In greater things. All things are possible to them that believe. That’s me. Today.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Galatians 5, it is for freedom Christ has set us free, sounds redundant. But You set us free to BE free. To live it–not just have it. Sin is bondage. Offense and hurt feelings are shackles. Shame and guilt are a prison. But You set us free. Hello new creature.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. It was a full Kingdom morning. Not busyness but fullness. I love to not just talk about You, but to talk about and take action leading more people to experience Your Kingdom. Love first, my preferences last–that’s the Way! Send more workers into the harvest.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. One difference between knowing about You and really knowing You is loneliness. You said You would never leave us or forsake us. That means I am never alone. You are always with me. Loneliness feels real, but it’s a lie. Believing Your Truth sets us free!✌🏼

Good night Jesus. It’s not enough to get out of Egypt. Until we get Egypt out of us–even manna from heaven isn’t enough. That’s why many don’t live by Your words. You are the real bread, manna, from heaven but we long for earthly things instead. Don’t let me look back to Egypt!✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Many say we believe in miracles, healing, and gifts of the Spirit. Yet too often we live like we don’t believe it’s possible to live without anger, grumbling, arguing, and complaining. The miraculous starts with new life. Your life in us. Hello new creature.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Freedom isn’t a catchphrase–it’s becoming more and more like You in this present world. People think it’s impossible. If so, why even try to walk as You walked? Because the Bible says as You are so are we in this world. Walking in You is the only real freedom.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. How I long to see You with my own eyes. To hear Your voice. Your laughter. To see You smile. As I prayed about that, it struck me that it’s possible. Not by going to Heaven or having a spiritual vision. I can see You among the least of these–everywhere I go.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Out of nowhere today–Miracle! Then plural. Certifiably miraculous. Prayers answered and being answered. But it wasn’t my prayers that did it. Wasn’t even my faith that did it. You love me and created me to love you back. Miracles are just part of the package.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Beautiful sunrise this morning. The sun cutting through the fog over a line of trees… I’m almost 60 years old and I’ve never seen a sunrise like that. A reminder that Your mercies are new every morning. Today is ripe with opportunities. Hello new creature.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Faith is feeling good about what’s ahead without actually knowing what’s ahead. You said don’t worry about tomorrow or my life. Seek the Kingdom first and all the stuff we need will be added. That’s all I need to know to rest in You. Tomorrow is a good day.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. Spilled coffee on my shirt on the way to church. By service time it had dried, leaving a stain few would notice. But I knew. Reminded me of guilt and shame. If we don’t believe the truth of forgiveness, there’s always a little guilt we hope no one will see.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. No evidence yet but I know that I know You are making a Way where there seems to be no way. You are my Shepherd I shall not lack! Provision for the vision You have given isn’t just coming. By faith, it’s a done deal. According to riches in glory, not my sight!✌🏼

Good night Jesus. It’s easy to focus on the faults of others. That makes our own self righteous fig leaves seem to fit better. But who am I to condemn anyone else? Neighbor or enemy. Everything good I am is a gift of grace and there is no condemnation either to me or from me!✌🏼

This too will pass and nothing much will change. Why? Because it’s no longer about right or wrong, good and evil or darkness and light. It’s all about us against them. And whatever that is, that’s not Jesus.✌🏼

Good morning Jesus. My heart grieves for Americans. We are the richest nation in history, with the resources to spread Your Good News to all who haven’t heard. Yet we argue. Divide. Point fingers–ignoring the least of these. May repentance sweep our nation. It starts with me.✌🏼

Good night Jesus. Studied repentance in a group study this morning and have thought and prayed a lot about it today. Repenting isn’t just being sorry or regretful. It’s changing one’s mind. We can be sad about sin, and yet continue in it. That’s not repentance–it’s just sorrow.✌🏼
