TONIGHT! In our shop : Fundraiser for OXFAM's Gaza Appeal with writers including Jo Mazelis, Jeff Towns, Jose Cifuentes, Aruni McShane & Rhoda Thomas + poetry from Palestinian writers including Ghada AlHaddad whose great quote was on our recent campaigns cards (Doors open 7pm, Pay what you can.)

Our shop will be hosting a solidarity event for Gaza this Thursday (16th), with contributions from a range of poets and writers based in South Wales. We will also read out poems sent to us by an OXFAM colleague in Gaza. Doors open 7pm and all donations will go to support OXFAM's work in Gaza.

Our shop is a bit of a #Fairtrade art gallery at the moment with all the #FunPalaces and #FairtradeFortnight creations on show! THANK YOU to all the volunteers involved in helping make these creative community moments happen! It's not too late to add your name to a #BrewItFair tea leaf-Come in soon!

Our Castle Street shop in Swansea celebrated 50 years with a challenge to walk 31 miles in one month 🚶 “We wanted to honour and remember those committed activists who started our shop” - Phil, Shop Manager. The team completed the challenge, with funds going to Oxfam's work fighting inequality.

We are grateful to family and friends of the poet-activist Tim Evans for donating his fantastic book collection to us. An eclectic mix, with specialisms in revolutionary politics, poetry, literature and music; in particular the Blues.
