I didn't dislike the humor as much as the author did, but I completely agree that Titanium Court's turn and attempt at commentary felt completely weightless to me. It's a good commentary to make, but this game can't pull it off.

Credits on Titanium Court. Really liked what it was doing/saying, but the magic didn't hold up long enough for its commentary on that magic to hit terribly hard. And I finished it at the first chance the game gave me. AP would probably think my experience is the point. I think it's a fine game.

I think I shouldn't play demos anymore. Multiple times in the gap of time between a next fest and the actual release, I've found that my interest in a game has significantly dropped. Titanium Court is the latest casualty. A demo I adored and a game I find tedious.

That's credits on Monster Hunter Stories 3 A great rpg that improves on the formula established in the first 2 in both production value and narrative. About midway through, it becomes less interested in it's unique turn based strategy and asks you to grind instead Like every other great jrpg 😅
