It’s done. The inside was glazed and the outside was waxed because I like the way the wax burns into my clay. These are two different clay bodies. I was too lazy to bend down and take photos of the carving on the sides. #dragon #bowl #ceramics #artist

I hung out with my friend in her studio room at her house, we painted together. She’s one of my favorite people and she bought me ceramic tools after mine got stolen. She’s great.

My car was broken into. The column of my steering wheel is partially broken and my bag, with all my ceramic tools, were stolen. I don’t think I’ll be posting for a few weeks.

So, I’ve finally got some stuff glazed and put into the kiln. Usual process is bisque firing all my pieces until I get to a certain amount (5 items or more, since my pieces are pretty big) before I glaze. Well, I have a few things glazed. Hopefully, they come out of the kiln at this or next week.

I’m back now. A WIP thing for a contest of sorts, it’s based of someone’s OC for a DITYS. I can’t remember their tag and I’m really tired from lack of sleep. Anyway, check that out. #harpy #ceramics #art

I am going to be taking about a week break from ceramics, if a little longer. Last month I was churning out stuff, I just never take photos because it’s tedious. Either way, I’ll be back. Just need a break so I don’t crash and burn. I’m getting used to my new schedule at work + new responsibilities.

This is going to be a lid (WIP)… for the giant dragon bowl. It’s a turtle dragon. Also, haven’t been posting much since I’m waiting on my cone 10 stuff to be fired + got a small promotion at work, busy with training and IT issues with my first week (electronics despise me). #ceramics #turtle #lid

I carved into it, can’t add more than four photos but oh well, it will have to do. This thing weighs around 25 lbs of clay; hollow legs, tail, and head. Might add a “lid” as well. This will probably be in total around 40-50 pounds of clay total depending on embellishing. #Dragon #ceramics #art

I put on a fresh coat of underglaze for this. I recently put a clear glaze over it but right now, I’m just showing off the underglazing.
