Human striatal progenitors can rebuild broken brain circuits. 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗮 et al. Recently showed that transplanted human striatal progenitors in an HD rodent model survive, differentiate, and integrate, with CorePlate™ HD-MEA recordings revealing some very interesting graft activity!

How the Retina Talks to Itself: New Insights Into Visual Coding Leveraging the high-resolution properties of CorePlate™, Szarka et al., revealed that 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 𝗥𝗚𝗖𝘀 support inter cellular communication via gap junctions to help encode visual information.
