Quite frankly it is advantageous to the Liberals for PP to remain as the leader. He’s proven he cannot get new people to join, has lost a large chunk of his base and the only ones that really remain are the angry type who aren’t interested in good governance anyway. Stay on PP, hold hard.

In Canada it really looks like the political landscape now is the new liberal party is the NDP, Carney’s Liberals have become a Conservative Party, the the PC party has turned into a right wing, head in the sand, “complaining” party.

Is it just me or has Trump basically destroyed rhetoric? ethos (credibility), pathos (emotion), and logos (logic)—along with the five classical canons (invention, arrangement, style, memory, delivery) Tell me how he convinces people with NONE of these things? Or is he just reorganizing them?

I have so many hobbies that sometimes I end up doing nothing because I’m worried that I’ll get sucked into one of them and spend too much time on it, so I end up doom scrolling for hours on end… this isn’t useful.

My eldest has been podcasting more than half their life. My youngest has been podcasting for 2/3 of his life. That’s what almost 9 years of podcasting does.

Starting reading aloud Dungeon Crawler Carl on Friday night. We have 77 pages left. My voice is tired. The whole family is in love with my Princess Donut voice though.

Well all of the things I was doing this week got canceled. My Brindlewood bay game. My good society game. My Cthulhu game. The only good thing from this week was I read aloud the first Dungeon Crawler Carl Book to my 14 yr old. We are almost done and loving it.

I’m still so ridiculously proud of my full sound experience of Tavern Tales’ Good Society. It’s tough trying to elevate my game and rely on only internal satisfaction without any external validation. But, almost 9 years of weekly podcasting means Im motivating myself enough as it is.

Look, The Pitt is great. It really is. But is it better than Acolyte? Maybe a little. But certainly not enough to earn the absolute rabid affection it has from society and the media… especially compared to what Acolyte got. It’s just a wall of The Pitt love everywhere I go.

I’m reading The Secret History and it bears reminding that it was published in 1992 when there were no search engines or much Internet. It’s such a well researched book, dense with classics, history, metaphor & structure. But damn none of it is tolerable. The condescension from the characters drips.

I’m just too busy. I released my backlog of podcasts this week, scheduled interviews for my other podcast, joined the cast of another show, had the most intense rehearsals for the musical I’m in and produced an improv show. Wiped. I’m just wiped.
