A LA Times reporter interviews Hannah: Princess of the Oakland Ballers pioneer team. I was very dissatisfied with our local lack of coverage. Oakland needed this good news storyline and not on a back page. I am looking to the next season. Bravo Ballers.

The Oakland Baller's pioneer baseball team won their season championship tonight. It was a terrific event for Oakland and the community. Bravo.

Sadly, what does the Fourth of July mean to me? I live in a big city with big city noises. This evening, unfortunately, will find me and my dogs to bed early: drugged and earpluged. Sadly. As a law enforcement officer retired, the gun fire is no fun, as well. Goes on and on into the night.

I was born in Canada. I had to give up my Canadian citizenship to be able to vote in the US; I did. No duel citizenship with that country. No one can tell me I don't care about this country. I am happy with the elections Canada had, recently. I am sad for the US.

More to come. The Echinopsis species has blossoms that will amaze. Tiny globes with blossoms not to be imagined. A 4 inch flower on a 8 inch stem. All on a mother plant that measures 3 inches by 3 inches. Now that, to me, is a miracle.
