Haven’t done a Letterboxd Friday in a while because my movie viewing has been way down. I was on vacation this week and watched a bunch, though.

I hit an unexpected milestone in my Letterboxd stats. It's been a year since I went a week without logging some kind of film. I only really thought of my film viewing as ramping up in December of 2024, but I guess I was being consistent prior to that.

Yesterday was the first day since December 18 that I didn’t watch some kind of film or short subject. I just wasn’t feeling it. Still, that’s over 100 days of straight film.

This is two movies in a row (admittedly, both in the same B-movie noir series, The Whistler), where private citizens have been able to ask businesses about their records and the information is just handed over. Privacy ends where plot expedience begins.

I've watched at least one movie a day every day in 2025, most days averaging 2-3. However, today, I am just not feeling it. This may be my first no-movie day in over three months.

@sol-vee.bsky.social & I have several anniversaries, but the 1st one is Email Anniversary on March 19th. 7 years ago, I shot her an email at just past 1 in the morning letting her know that I was interested in her and I would like to pursue that. She responded in the affirmative several hours later.

Think I hit a wall in my movie watching this week. I may have burned too bright and too quickly.
