Regarding the new Joe Rogan episode with Elon Musk. He called English villagers “hobbits” and claimed “a thousand people show up and start raping the kids.” It’s racist, dehumanising nonsense and deeply dangerous rhetoric. Public figures shouldn’t get away with spreading hate like this.

We’re living in a dark timeline. I think Lee Evans needs to come out of retirement - that will make it better.

It’s embarrassing to be British on a day like today - watching the usual Twitter accounts rush to use the Huntingdon stabbings to spread racism and disinformation. BTP have confirmed both suspects are British-born. Before “radicalisation” gets blamed, let our services do their jobs.

“No wars”

A horrific incident near Huntingdon tonight, which is very local to me. Multiple people stabbed on a train, two arrests made. We must have a serious national conversation about public safety and community confidence. Thoughts with those affected.

Finally, some realism on Europe. A reset is long overdue. The UK’s future depends on partnership. Cooperation and shared values with the EU are how we rebuild our economy and global standing.

Continuously ticking the boxes required for the road to authoritarianism.

Zarah Sultana stating we should withdraw from NATO immediately is an incredibly reckless and out-of-touch suggestion. There couldn’t be a worse moment to weaken our alliances. Our commitment to NATO is a cornerstone of European security and a major reason we’ve had peace in Europe for generations.

Happy Nigel Farage’s Bill to pull us out of the ECHR was rejected. But the fact it was even brought to the table in the first place shows the type of people Farage and his crooks are.

It will be like getting blood out of a stone, but I’m glad they’re calling him out.

Praying Gavin Newsom runs for American presidency. He’s a smart guy, lots of potential, great values. A breath of fresh air compared to Trump.

The Reform UK fall-off is happening faster than I could have hoped for. It’s predictably self-inflicted and great to watch.

The UK Nature’s Rights Bill is necessary. We’re in a climate & biodiversity emergency. Nature should be protected legally. It’s our life support system. The proposal is overdue.

It’s ironic and quite humorous how Reform UK supporters point fingers at Labour for our economy troubles. Yet their leader is the real reason we’re in this mess because of his huge influence in bringing about Brexit.

Today’s No Kings protests across the U.S. are a powerful reminder that democracy only survives when people refuse to be ruled by fear or ego. The rallies aren’t “anti-American,” as the right keeps claiming. They’re deeply patriotic.

Reform UK’s “flagship” Kent council has descended into infighting, bullying complaints, and leadership shouting matches. If this is their idea of “doing politics differently,” it’s looking a lot like the same chaos they claim to replace.

The UK must stay strong in its support for Ukraine. If we waver, we send a message that democracy is optional, and it never is.

Zelenskyy arriving at the White House feels like a crucial moment. I hope Trump’s tone this time is one of respect.

I’ve never cared for the tribal side of politics. My focus is simple: what’s fair, what’s practical, and what helps people most.

It did not take a lot to get drafted as well.

My recent tweet defending the Lib Dems has had a flood of angry replies from the far-right corners of Twitter. It really sums up the problem there - people don’t debate anymore, they attack. I’m glad places like Bluesky allow proper conversation, where you can disagree without hostility.

What I Think About Brexit - If You Care

The UK expanding sanctions on Russian oil giants and their “shadow fleet” is the right move. Putin’s regime constantly dodges accountability. Tightening economic pressure is one of the few levers we still have that doesn’t cost lives.

It shouldn’t have taken this long for the government to start talking about the failure that was Brexit. Nevertheless, I’m glad they are.

BREAKING NEWS In a move that has shocked absolutely no one with basic arithmetic skills, populist right wing party trying to win votes with fantasy economics traipses around in fetching hair shirt after all their policies are found to be economic fantasy.

Predictable, shameful, disgusting.

Trump admits during his speech to Israel that he supplied lots of powerful weapons to them. Confirming America’s direct involvement in a modern day genocide.

Foreign states trying to infiltrate UK politics isn’t news - it’s confirmation. Russia’s fingerprints have already been linked to Reform circles. MI5’s warning should wake us up.

All the remaining Israeli hostages are being released by Hamas. This doesn’t erase the suffering, the destruction, or the lives lost. But it does mark a moment of humanity.
