Lost in all of the E33-Silksong talk is the fact that both games are super iterative and only one nominee actually pushed the medium forward this year (DK Bananza.) 2nd best game this year was ball x pit anyway.

I've had this video recorded for a bit and the game came out yesterday. Can't speak to the final product but the demo was very cool! Think I will be picking it up.

YouTube is so strange because some random video you've had sitting around for a rainy day upload will take off and the thing you put a lot of time and effort into will often do a whole lot of nothing. The latter videos are more fulfilling though.

This was a fun little demo. I think there are some balancing issues but I had a good time and the presentation is top notch. Also a very interesting take on several genres.

Waiting for the followup post where he realizes XIII got a bad rap and that the fantastic ff7 remakes have ffxiii all through their DNA.

This and 13 are my comfort final fantasies.

I've sunk some more time into the actual game now and it's really a joy. Won't hit with everyone but it's cozy as hell and feels like a time capsule from like 1998 in the best way. Will definitely be doing a full review when I'm done.
