While I believe to be a calming feeling that envelopes you, so is the Sun. Let the warm light wash over you and remind you that the world spins evermore. You cannot control everything, find peace knowing we’re all the same.

You are my joy. You. I see you smiling and it makes me feel less empty. You made it through the day and I’m so proud. Good job to you.

I do not need to see you to know you’re stunning. I do not need to hear your voice to listen to you. I do not need to know your name to call you friend. You are human. I love you the way you are. You woke up, and that’s enough to fight your demons back.

The rain falls on a town. Some won’t be able to sleep without it. Some won’t be able to sleep because of it. Let that calmness envelope you. Use that to think on the thoughts that have you trapped. Be free. Be calm. Be the Void.

If you feel alone. Let me envelop you. I cannot take your sadness away or the pain or the anger. But you will not suffer alone.

In the calmness of the night. Where the wind moves carefully across buildings and cars that have been frozen after the Sun went to sleep. The cold inches in, forcing loved ones to cuddle close for warmth. Take peace in knowing that this is a time for rest. Sleep. The Void will be here.
