Historians doing place-based and spatial research often want to make use of archaeological work, but it can often feel difficult to find what you want, and difficult to interpret when you do find it. This course is designed to help historians get a foothold in the world of archaeology!

Have found the equivalent of queuing on Christmas Eve at Roger Brown’s in Harborne for your turkey. Queuing to get into a coffee shop, any coffee shop, in Stratford upon Avon on Christmas Eve. Gave up the former in 2019 and may have given up the latter in 2025.

Nigel Slater’s Chocolate Cake. First time I’ve made it for about 5 years and first time in this house. Always better after a day or two. But have taken a test chunk just to be sure.
