Companies make things so easy at sign up and then have you jumping through hoops when it’s time to cancel 🙃. I know it’s been like this forever , everywhere , but it’s still so annoying.

I’ve been using my L&D budget to get better at skills for my video game (nothing to do with my day job but the industry knowledge there isn’t something to use L&D on) , and it’s been going well , but I think my Blender tutor just ghosted me 🥹.

Alright - today’s micro goal is to fix the camera clipping issue on my follow cam . It will be fairly quick (all I’m up to after todays work day ) but feel so satisfying - I know my other hobby #gamedev #indiegamedev folks also have those days where work only leaves you with 30 mins of effort left.

Even with my travels I’ve been maintaining my “a little bit of incremental progress on my game every day sprint” but have been excited to get back to my PC & full setup in the last 24 hours - I got cinemachine installed and a follow camera set up…& then troubleshot the camera #gamedev #indiegamedev

Random National Guards roaming around DC …odd feeling. However still took advantage of my day off being the start of Restaurant Week. I’m not into an occupied #DC but Bar Angie was tasty. Would definitely recommend.

At this point I think I’m pretty locked in on switching to #Unity for my main project but also planning to do a mini mini project with #Godot . I’m going to make my niece a very simple game that’s on her reading level (Kindergarden) and she can just walk around in. #gamedev #indiegedev

Still playing around with #Unity : I’ve got my charcuterie controller set up. I’m using the default controller , no rigid body. I debugged the few weird things by fixing gravity and having the character face the direction they are moving. #gamedev #indiegamedev
