I'm someone who has gone through the immigration process, and is waiting for it, for mi prometido, and...you see these things of people pretending to care about issues that are not relevant, and it's infuriating.

So October 23, 1995, as an 8-year-old kid with cerebral palsy, I underwent an orthopedic surgery which put me in a body cast and left me immobile for 6-8 weeks. I was pulled out of school for the year. It was an incredibly dark time, but it gave me an understanding of freedom can't be replicated.

The rise of the far-right in Germany is scary, but I'm glad to see Die Linke winning 8.5% or more of the vote, even after their right-wing anti-immigrant, anti-trans faction split off. The Left will be represented in Germany regardless of what happens.
