My latest obsession has been Magic's Commander format! I still play YGO, but I also have started playing Commander on Friday nights with a couple of pals who are a bit more casual than me. Commander is a great fit for them because building a deck is more about expression than optimal cards.

I finally got around to replacing the plastic cape on my Kuwagata Ohger figure with the cloth cape replacement part. It's a pretty substantial improvement not just in being show accurate but also in actually staying in place!

Yesterday I busted out Advance Wars 1+2 at the gaming club for the first time in months and almost immediately had kids dropping other stuff to join in. Advance Wars is such an underrated multiplayer game. It's like a digital board game which requires almost no setup to get people into it!

granblue relink has afk grinding methods which means that behind my teacher desk my little granblue crew is fighting the same dude on repeat over and over for 8 hours while i teach a class of teenagers who will be none the wiser that work is now an elaborate scheme to earn money while i grind

because of granblue versus and granblue relink i went from barely knowing this franchise existing to being completely obsessed with its cast of recurring weirdos i'm not going to play the gacha but i am going to tell everyone who will listen to play versus and relink

Granblue Relink has me thinking about multiplayer games. Here’s some of my favorites from my childhood to now!

#1 thing I'm most jealous of in the TCG space is drafting Magic gets all these sets designed for draft and here I am playing Yu-Gi-Oh with zero sets designed for draft if you're a MtG player, appreciate draft it's such a cool way to play the game

I played in a YGO 3v3 and fought 4 Fire King/Snake-Eye decks in a row. It was miserable, got flashbacks to Tear 0 format the whole time... He wouldn't have let this happen He is the hero we need Bring him back

The story mode of Granblue Relink is genuinely like a demo compared to the scope of the post-game. The Granblue endgame grind is real, it’s massive, and it’s honestly so fun.

First finished video game to post to Bluesky. Granblue Relink, an action JRPG unlike any other! But also very familiar! This felt like Kingdom Hearts 2 meets Bayonetta meets multiplayer quests. Super tight story, incredibly well-paced. Can’t wait to dive into the multiplayer quests!
