A long 400+ mile day and Thanksgiving dinner time at a diner. Now THATS something to be thankful for for sure!

Thanksgiving sunsets in Salt Lake City… Made it outta WY just in time before a nasty storm system came in and now done for the day! Time to find somewhere that’s still open so I can have some dinner!

No complaints about my Thanksgiving out on the road this year… I am actually happy to be on the roads this year! Don’t have to deal with family drama back in CA, thank god, and can make some good $$$ by going from WY to OR after seeing Zootopia 2 last night!

500+ mile drive today? WORTH IT! I LOVE ZOOTOPIA!!!! 😀 I LOVED IT! I think I am inspired to draw artwork again! I have so many ideas! Also, I think it made my love for the furry fandom even stronger!

Might go see Zootopia 2 tonight in Cheyenne, WY after I finish my run from OH to CO. In CO now! Just gotta deliver and that’s the end of my day! *Happy Tiger sounds*

Finally. After having to get the load re worked and it taking all last night and half the day today, my first run back with Crete from NE to OH, despite the shenanigans, was delivered ON TIME! 🙂

My dad is saying how amazing A.I. is trying to get me into it and that ChatGBT is amazing and how I can make it talk like one of my furry fandom friends at a convention. WTF?!? F-k that! …and thanks for insulting me and my fandom friends that I have… I’m pissed… I HATE A.I. >:(

Woke up this foggy MO morning with lots on my mind but I am definitely happy to be waking up at Crete again. They actually care and let a driver be a driver, which involves chugging down coffee and having breakfast on a NE to OH run. 🙂

Tucked away in an old brownstone was this amazing BBQ place! First time ever having Kansas City style BBQ!

End of a chapter. A quite miserable one to be honest. Only great thing was getting to go back to NY for some hometime & seeing my logo on a rig & having a train horn. Other than that? Not gonna miss Prime. It all ends today as I clean out my truck and head back to Crete to become a company driver.

Finally made it to Springfield and staying 2 nights here at the hotel to relax and get the truck ready to hand back to Prime before I leave to Crete and looks like drivers are getting their rigs ready for the holidays.

After a horrid day of dealing with people at work giving me a whole bunch of attitude and lip and treating me like dirt, I officially pulled the plug on working at PRIME. I am on my way back to Springfield, MO to turn in my truck.

Punched my way out of the snowstorm and made it to MD! Whew!!!

Warming up at the Waffle House… More snow fell last night and should be clearing out this morning. Then I should be able to run to MD… I hope…

The good weather is officially gone. From now until Spring it’s going to be a very stressful and low paycheck time… Winter has arrived early…

What in the heck?!? Snow AND fall colors?!?! I’ve only gotten to see pictures online of this type of thing. Until this morning! All the snow on those vibrant colors still left… It’s amazing! :) This was taken at the truckstop I am at in OH.

The first nasty snowstorm of the season has arrived and is clobbering OH, PA, NY, and more. Good thing I am parked. Temps will drop into the 20s which means ice will definitely be forming tonight. Got a bunch of Zephyrs cloaks and a couple extra blankets outta storage. I’ll be nice and toasty!

Parked for a 34 hr break and I can see the outer bands of the first nasty snowstorm of the season moving in… Winter came early and I really am not happy about it. Driving in winter is the worst of the worst. 😕

Welp. Run from FL to SC to OH is finally done. I can’t stand these new rigs with all the dumb babysitter sensors they have on them! They are more aggravating than helpful and are a HUGE distraction! More distracting than listening to music or having a snack while driving! Useless! 😠

I sure do love Albanys old and new infrastructure mix. Gotta appreciate that NY architecture! 🙂

Went to Waffle House and when I was paying I noticed this little Zootopia Judy Hopps toy sitting by the register. I said: “I like that little Zootopia figure! That’s great!” “You want it? It’s been sitting here for months…” “Sure! I guess I have a lucky rabbit now!” Gotta love Waffle House! 😂

Trying to take as many pictures of my rig as possible. Only 10 more days before the big switchback from leasing my own truck to going back to a company driver. I have to do what’s best for me and my life. Doing things MY way. No one else’s!

It’s no NYC, but it’s still a cool city in its own way! Cities are what we make them, this could be my next and maybe permanent home… Who knows! :) Welcome to the 42nd floor of the Empire State Plaza in Albany NY!
