He took the files and glanced over each one. "Ahh yes, I have come across Miss Lee before. She almost got inside the Wraith." A visible sneer as he tucks the files underneath his arm. "Of course, there is something I'd ask in return for my assistance..."

His dark eyes light up a bit at that revelation. "Ahh...so it is true. Frederick has burned bridges down with those insufferable twins? With less allies, I'm liking these odds more." A light chuckle escaped his lips as he leaned against the wall. "If I can be of any assistance with those merfolk

"Impressive. In all my long years, I have yet to come across a mercreature. It seems you'll be getting that rare opportunity soon." Charlie set his cane down on top of Elizabeth's desk before he ran a gloved hand lightly along the side of the chamber.

"I thought the deep red of my favorite flower would go so well with your decor." He bows slightly before walking around the new contraption. "My my...what is this fancy device?"

"You're too kind, Ms. Abott. But rest assured, it'll take a lot more than Frederick's antics to pull me down." He pulls out a small potted poinsettia plant and offers it to her. "A small present for a charming lady."

"Nonsense. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be free. And if you must break a few eggs in the process well---that's not a terrible thing."

"You've been quite busy, my dear." He says in that calm, cool tone as he walks into the lab. The sound of his cane tapping against the floor echoes throughout.

The blizzard increased as Manx lifted his cane up to poke roughly at Myers. "This isn't /your/ fight. Go back to whence you came, brute. You're on the Naughty list!"

Manx scowled as Myers just wouldn't back down. He had bigger fish to fry. "Fine. Have it your way, then." A sudden flurry of icy wind started to blow all around them as powdered sugar snow fell from a darkened sky.

Manx scoffed as he watched Myers lurk closer. He was in no mood to deal with such trifles. "There's nothing for you here. Run along back to your sister if she'll have you." A snide, sharp grin.

"Why don't you get out of this dreadful heat." The back door of the Wraith swung open suddenly.

"I dare say you're out of your depth here, Myers. Be gone. You try my patience!" Manx brushed him off with a quick wave of his gloved hand.

"And yet here you are. And what, pray tell, are you searching for?" A beat before his dark eyes light up. "Or perhaps you're running from /something/...."

"Well my dear, I'd say you'd found someone." A charming little laugh.

"If the parent wasn't suitable, then I wouldn't doubt Mr. Covington's reasons."

"Michael. What an unpleasant surprise." He slowly looks towards the Shape, smirking.

"You aren't a phantom like the rest at his fine establishment...." He's sizing up the other. "William Delgado...'

"The pleasure is all mine. Now tell me, what brings you out here all by your lonesome?"

"Make the retrieval quick, dear boy. I shall wait for you all to return to the Wraith." The back door unlocked and swung open as the car stopped just outside the manor doors.

Charlie turned up the radio, letting the eerie little Christmas carols drown out their demented laughter as the Wraith drove towards Krupa Manor. "You know what you have to do, my son."

He held up his silver flask. "Here's to victory and, if I may say, a lasting relationship. Professional, of course." A small wink as Mr. Manx took a sip.

"I can't wait to see what you and Guthrie do to that vile wretch." He couldn't help but sneer as he thought of the wonderful opportunities. Soon, those meddling twin sisters would be gone. And then...much bigger prey.

"That Dandridge wh*re....Perhaps you should take the lead on that one, yes?" He beamed proudly as he saw his curse take ahold fully on the younger man. "One with such talents like yourself, Jackson. You're a true artiste, if I may say."

The passenger side door opened up for him, and Charlie ducked his head before sitting up front. He continued to smile brightly back at her. "If we pull our resources, I dare say we have a greater chance of beating these fools. Both parties have caused such grief to myself and my children."

"Excited? Good. We have much work to do if we are to rescue my sweet little sugarplum. I'll need all of you boys' strength if we are to finally get rid of that cursed dream demon." He almost hissed at the thought of what Frederick was doing to Millie currently.

Inside was the very same thing Jax had tried to bury....those murderous tools for Mister March. Manx grinned to himself as the Wraith pulled away from the forest.

A wicked sneer spread across his pale face as the vintage Rolls-Royce started to drive away from the woods. "You'll soon have your favorite playmate back, Jackson. Don't despair. And to prove that I hold no ill will after this...little show of rebellion..." A gift lay by Jax's feet.

The backdoor slammed shut and locked in an instant. The Wraith revved her engine in annoyance as Charlie sat down at the driver's seat with a slight huff. There was a pause as he smoothed out his jet black hair before smiling at the Barnes twin via the rear view mirror.

Manx practically started dragging Jax by his neck towards the Wraith. A sudden chill grew around them in his rage as he pushed him into the backseat. "Now sit there and think about what you've done!"

"Go where, dear boy? You know that I always know where you and the rest of my children are. And I will ALWAYS find you." His fangs grew out in his simmering anger, especially once he noticed what Jax had been doing. "How dare you. Do you want to be on the Naughty List?!"

"Enough nonsense. You've dilly dallied for far too long." The Wraith's back door opened up as the tall man stalked over towards him. "My goodness, why are you covered in dirt?

"And there you are, Jackson...." That all too familiar voice calling out from the treeline.
